What is it like working with ProAutomated?

ProAutomated employees describe the company in 4 phrases:

“People” – Everybody that works at ProAutomated enjoys and cares about the people they work with. When people leave ProAutomated, they always rate the “People” at ProAutomated as the best part of their job.

“Leading our Industry” – ProAutomated has always sought to be the best at what we do, and that means we’re regularly evolving.

“Growing Together” – ProAutomated started as 1 person doing field service, and to develop managers, leaders, coordinators, everybody at ProA has had the opportunity to grow into new roles/responsibilities.

“Adventure” – Field Service by nature involves responding to customers when/where they need. As a result, the last minute flight to Alaska or the drive to Boston can be unexpected adventures. They don’t happen every day, but everybody experiences some adventures during their time with us.

Overall, we care about each other, and one of our main company goals is to improve our employees’ quality of life.

We lay claim to being the best at what we do. We hire the best, demand their best, and give them our best. We’ve completed over 10,000 lighting control projects in 3,500 locations, spread out across 7 countries since we started in 2007, and business is growing. We’re expanding our reach and team monthly, and we’re more excited than ever about the future of lighting. And since you’ve made it this far, we’re looking forward to learning more about you.

What are the benefits of working for ProAutomated?

One of the many benefits of working for a small company is that the company listens to its employees and takes their suggestions seriously. This perk, coupled with our excellent customer service, is one of the many reasons why we have risen to the top of our field. We are pleased to offer our employees standard benefits like healthcare, paid holidays, and a 401K with company matching, but we are even more pleased about our “unusual” benefits. These include take-as-you-need-it paid vacation after 18 months employment, company donations for employees’ volunteer time, a mid-year company retreat that includes activities like whitewater rafting or paintball, and a catastrophe fund set up for catastrophes that impact ProA employees. We are always on the lookout for employees that fit our culture and have great customer service skills.
